Mike's Inc. was formed in 1965 by Mike Marko and his father Jim. It began as a part-time welding shop in Roxana, IL, in a two car garage. Both men had full time jobs in the local area - Mike as a pipeline welder for Cherokee Pipeline and Jim as a port engineer for Gulf Oil Company.

Today, Mike's Inc. has become one of the most versatile repair facilities in the industry. From small engine repairs to the complete rebuild of workboats, the diversity of our company allows us to utilize many abilities.

The 60,000 sq ft main facility, (3) warehouses totaling 21,000 sq ft, marine facility with 1,200 ft of dock on the Mississippi River and the vast experience of over 50 employees provide a wide range of capabilities.
